Location: Atlanta,Ga. | That would have to be a model 1615 if its a 12 string..A 1614 was the 6 string model calle d"the folklore"..The twelve string was a 1615 "pacemaker" model.... |

Location: Maryland | Samova is 100% CORRECT. I have a 1615-4 Pacemaker 12 string ('72) original owner since then and wish to chime in. This particular Ovation 12 is so damn sweet. With its short neck (joins body at 12th fret) it allows for stability that longnecks can't even dream of. True access is difficult beyong the body but if you want it, it's there (you just have to work a touch harder). Anyway, my 1615 has been around the world with me and she is the only guitar I've had for this long. She's a KEEPER!
