Location: Frozen Tundra | it's been staring at me ever since I saw it in GP. It seem like a lot to pay for an import though.
Has anyone played one? |

I have played one and for an import they are not too bad. I do not remember seeing them at the namm show so maybe they will be closing them out. If so and if interested e mail me. If I am not mistaken they were made for the Mars stores and some of them are closing. I do not think it was an official Richie Sambucca model or anything like that. (Sambucca is now playing a taylor double neck)
I do have a US preference when it comes to the Ovation guitars but the doubleneck interested me also |

I'de have to dump something to buy it though.
a korean for a grand seems too much. |

Location: Atlanta,Ga. | One thing to keep in mind on the doubleneck guitar and no one has mentioned yet...First it is a slod top according to ovation and the ads i read. The other fact is that the body is not a full size body on the guitar..They scaled it down to a smaller, probably 3/4 size body...I dont know if anyone is aware of that....I had one for a short while and then sold it...samova |

Location: Atlanta,Ga. | I did not sell it because i did not like it.,It was a good enough guitar. The neck and playabilty were fine.I just did not see myself playing it much.I think for the price i paid it was a nice guitar and it came with a very nice case as well.I think the Mars music stores always offered it with the case for $995.00...I did not get mine thru mars music though...Anyway, overall it was a nice guitar ,i just didnt see myself using it much and im more of a an early ovation fan..I love the guitars from the 60's and 70's more... |
