My Elite has a deep Vee shaped neck. It is the most comfortable neck I've ever held (it fits my grip perfectly). My 1996 collector with the "sharpe frets" also has a Vee neck, but it is a shallower Vee than the Elite. None of the current Ovation models I have held in music stores (even the current Elites) have that deep Vee shape. Does anyone have feedback on whether the DEEP Vee is a rare neck shape. The Elite in question is White (no longer a color option) with inlaid position markers and the old (round volume knob) OP-24 preamp. I think you have to go to a Super Elite to get the inlays now. (thanks for the fret problem feed-back..
