I've been useing a cousin's White `86 12-string Collector Series. I know nothing about this particular guitar since I don't own it.
Any info on it?
Thanks! |

Location: 6 String Ranch | It was the second year of a 6&12. Mark O'Connor was in the ad and we had a good time shooting the pic. It was in Nashville and they tried to steal my car the night before the shoot. Would have been great to loose the guitars!! We pulled the preamp out of Mark's guitar and put a flash triggered strobe in it and some dry ice for the smoke. All the "effects" you see in the ad were live and created when the pic was taken, no after the fact airbrushing. Mark had done some other stuff with us and was always using the special 12 string Adamas. He insisted on using the 6 in the ad cause he didn't want to be thought of as a 12 string player. It was the only year in the last 30 that I didn't have a beard.
That's what I think of when you mention the guitar but it didn't answer your question, did it? It was a super shallow, round hole using paint grade tops and necks. The first time a SS 12 string was offered but basically a real forgettable offering. |

I'm glad I could open up on of those little doors we have in our brain.
As far as quality it's not for me I just have custody for a bit but have used it a handful of times for sessions.
It was in un-playable shape neckwise, when I got hold of it.
Several techs said it was a lost cause to fix.
Greg from BCR Music that "mad man of Hamers", made it quite useable. |

Location: Lemoyne, Pennsyltucky | It was a mess. We waved the majik wand, drank some black Kona, cranked up the Dregs on the stereo and put it back together. I hope it stays together, 'cuz I guarantee my work.
It's not really that forgettable, but the 6 in line headstock bugs me on the 6 string. |
