Location: Jacksonville, Florida | What do you think of the stereo preamp "HexFex" system on certain Ovation guitars? I've had great fun with mine and I like it so much that I once asked the manufacturer about the possibility of retrofitting one onto another Ovation. I was hoping to use it to replace the OP24 on my Elite 1868. The response was that it would be difficult and not practical because the entire bridge assembley would have to be removed and replaced.
I'd love to hear if anyone has any interesting uses, suggestions, applications or experiences to share concerning this stereo system.
