Location: montreal | I think it would be a good idea, let the world see the best guitars it has to offer its inhabitants. Of oourse it all depends on the folks who run the site...hint, hint.

Location: NJ | Miles and I plan to scan some old catalogs so the original photos of the guitars will be available.
I for one do NOT want to see a bunch of duplicate pictures. although your guitar is special to you it may not be that special to someone else. sure pics of collections would be fine but for me personally I am more interested in pics of interesting one off guitars or custom colors finishes etc.

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | I like the "personal gallery" idea myself, in addition to the photo's we'll be putting up. I think it would be convienient for folks to drop their pics on a page someplace to show off. My feeling on "a bunch of duplicate pics" is "if you don't like what's on... change the channel" I don't suspect I'll be browsing photos much myself, but as it would not be any of my time posting them,... whatever the people want is fine with me.. It's their board.. It would also make it easier for folks that want to show a pic in their post, to have a place to drop it. Not everyone has an ISP that allows them to use storage space.
When/If available... one would click a link to "upload" a pic. A page would automatically be generated to view by thumbnail, or click to enlarge. This could be free to all members.
For a small fee (TBD) those that use eBay or other auction, you can drop your photo in place and point to it from eBay or wherever. If you want a "custom" page, to show off your collection that would also require a small donation.
