Location: Downstate New York | Man, I'm wishing I could make it to Pennsauken! Fill my ears at the gigs, fill my already way-too-fat belly at the show, and maybe even learn a thing or fourteen. I'm not even that far away, but, crazy as it may seem, I don't dare leave our very elderly dog alone for more than a few hours. I'm more and more torn between hoping he lives even more years than his current 16 and wishing I was free of the burdens of his care. Actually, he may be on his last legs, having gone from his usual 50 pounds down to 37, but he still seems to be happy about life. If/when he's too depressed or too weak or in pain, we'll have him put down. Meantime, I keep telling him to please soak up some of my fat - it would do us both a lot of good!
