I have a 1978 1111-4 (natural finish Balladeer). The portion of the fretboard that extends onto the body (above the 14th fret) has managed to come unglued and there is a noticeable separation between the body and the fretboard. Upon disassembly (last night) and cleaning, I noticed the original glue appeared to be red..... Anybody know what type of glue was originally used and where some can be found now?
Thanx,
Jim Sanders

I think it was called durolock or something like that. It was a two part epoxy of some sort. You don't need to use this exact glue, The factory uses something else these days too. Give them a call for advice on what to use.
