Does anyone no the history on Ovations venture into solid body electric guitars. Specifically "GS-2F/B? And were these guitars worth consideration?

I have a couple of Solid Body Ovations. Click here it takes a few seconds to load.

I'm not sure of the model number you posted. I'm gonna assume it's the GS Bass, but unfortunatly I don't have a lot of info on them other than what I own. I like the idea of the GS's but the quality was very random to say the least.
