Location: NJ | this morning I leave for the englishtown NJ raceway part spring car show. It is about 40 minutes from my house so I will commute every day but will probably be dog tired and not participate in the message boards much..see you all back on monday...play nice please |

Location: PA | So anyway....speaking about that Martin. In my last post it had gone to a highly recommended Luthier who had it for a few weeks before he really got to look at it. He basically said, "No way I'm touching this guitar, it is far too messed up." Apparently it was more than just a finish flaw, there is a problem with the neck...bad enough that the guy with 30+ years of experience sent it back to the factory. He thought Martin would most likely have to replace the guitar although he wasn't positive. Martin revised it's 9 mos. to a year estimate down to 9 months in the worst case.....AWESOME!!
Anyway, I guess they still do at least some repair work up at the factory, but maybe only on the special cases...... |
