Location: NJ | Would anybody know if there might be any old technical drawings anywhere of the first Adamases in existence anywhere?
Being a designer, I would LOVE to be able to find an old drawing, blueprint, or AutoCAD file that I could make a copy of and frame on my office wall.
While I realize that things like this aren't usually readily available, I thought that maybe over the years some of these might have been released.
I've found a shareware site that has a 3D computer model of a Balladeer, but it's a little on the "rough" side.
I should probably just invest the time and create my own using my Adamas as a model. |

Location: Atlanta,Ga. | Cliff, im not sure if this is what your looking for but i have an ovation parts breakdown book, that has the picture of the guitar including adamas and adamas II with the guitar and parts broken down and lines drawn to eack part with a part number next to it.In fact the book has all the acoustics and solid bodies broken down. Its very interesting and i have not seen another like it.Its very detailed down to the screws..Also, there are some dealer ad slicks for dealers to choose the ad size and copy they want for the solid bodies. This probabl;y dates back to the early seventees.I also have the owners manuals for the original adamases and the first adamas book/owners manual which has all slotted headstoc guitars in the book.My guess is its probably the only adamas book featuring pics of slotted adamases. |

Location: SoCal | Sam, if I ever get to Atlanta, I'm gonna hold you to that. We exchanged some emails a year or so ago and you shot me some pics of your babies. I've had a serious problem keeping the spit in my mouth and off my chin ever since. |
