Location: Australia | It seems that to get the Ovation I want I need to custom order it from the factory.
Does anyone have any experience with this? |

Location: 6 String Ranch | It shouldn't be too ,difficult. just get to the right guy at the factory or marketing office and get it designed. Then they'll want to make sure your local dealer and or distributor don't get left out of the mix. It can happen but I think you will have to be the driving force to push it through. Give it a try and let us know the results. |

Location: NJ | I have seen a few custom orders. if they can assemble it with existing parts that is a plus too something that needs to be machined would obviously cost way more (re the double and triple necks done for page and sambucca)
Call the service dept and see if they can help you. |

Location: Australia | Well I'm after a 1687 Adamas in blue with an Optima preamp.
Kaman sent me an email saying they could build it.
Having such a large service facility I guess they would have older style Adamas tops, necks, etc in stock as spare parts so it shouldn't be too difficult for them.
The only thing that concerns me is how much it will cost! |

If you have to ask.... it means that you have a wife and kids, the mortgage is due and one of the kids needs braces and you got to figure out what you can offer the wife in exchange for her not getting pissed at your spending money on another damn (her word, not mine) guitar. |
