Is the fact that a 81 Legend was made in the good ol USA really increase it's value, even though the technology behind today's line probably created a superior product? In particular, I am concerned about bowing under the bridge, and old bridge support vs. new. I suppose beings it's 20 years old, it probably won't get any worse, as long as I take care of it.

If I buy this used Legend should I stick a humidifier in the case with it? Is it O.K. to leave it out on display Winter and Summer? Never had to worry much with my Yamaha, or my Fender accousticals, but LOTS of questions from a novice with Ovations!

Thanks again for your input!

A dampit in the winter won't hurt but no need in the summer
