Location: Nova Scotia, Canada | I personally haven't had any trouble with this style bridge but as an alternative, you can retro-fit your guitar with one of the Schaller/Ovation bridges that were used in the last couple of years of solid-body production.
There is a member or two on this board that did have some NOS ones available for sale. This upgrade requires no modifications...just take the old one off and put the Schaller on.

Location: NJ | i am lost between the connection of frets popping up and the bridge.
You may be able to tap the frets back in. that sounds like a storage climate issue.
what exactly is the problem witb the bridge saddles? |
