I just bought an almost dead mint tobacco sunburst
Ovation Deacon The frets are popping up and a couple have been wrongly filed but it is stock in every other way I have heard the gold bridge saddles will eventually give trouble I have contacted Graph Tech and I was wondering does anyone have any easy to find inexpensive saddles?
I may even selll this guitar it is stock and I have the factory case its a little dirty the only thing added to this guitar is a strap button

I personally haven't had any trouble with this style bridge but as an alternative, you can retro-fit your guitar with one of the Schaller/Ovation bridges that were used in the last couple of years of solid-body production.
There is a member or two on this board that did have some NOS ones available for sale. This upgrade requires no modifications...just take the old one off and put the Schaller on.

i am lost between the connection of frets popping up and the bridge.

You may be able to tap the frets back in. that sounds like a storage climate issue.

what exactly is the problem witb the bridge saddles?

Al,
The bridge saddles had popping fret ends.
