I bought a used ovation guitar for $200 about 3 years ago and ever since I've been trying to determine the real value of this guitar but have come up with nothing. A few months ago the ovation website had all the collector's edition guitars on their website and my guitar looked exactly like the 1983 collector's edition.I'm really not sure it's that one and I've checked the model and serial number but nothing checks out. So I would really appreciate it if someone could give me some information about the value and other characteristics of this guitar. It's an Ultra series made in Korea, the model number is 1528 and the serial number is 130814.

Yours is an ultra made in Korea. The collectors were always made in CT. While they might look very similar they are quite different if you were to hold them and play them side by side
