I am thinking about purchasing a Custom Balladeer 1612.
the guitar is in beautiful shape.
It sounds and plays beautiful
The only problem I can see is, if you feel the guitar below the bridge you can feel that the face of the guitar rounds up.
You can notice it as well if the light hits it just right.
If you drew a line directly down from each side of the bridge , that is were the rise starts on each side
And if I lay a straight edge accross the guitar just below the bridge it shows about an eighth inch rise. there are no cracks though in this part.
Behind the bridge towards the soundhole the wood is flat,
Although running right inline with the g string there is a thin surface crack that runs from under the bridge up to the soundhole.

The action is fine and the bridge does not seem to be lifting at all. the guitar seems real real solid.
Has anyone ever seen this before? does it need repairing? and can I expect any future problems.
Thanks

As long as the bridge isn't lifting & the action can be adujsted downwards, a small rise in the top behind the bridge is nothing to worry about.
