Saw a breadwinner style guitar built by Gene Brown , A veteran at Ovation. 36 years. I guess jim Messina didnt want it because of sustain but sounded good to me. Figured maple fingerboard ,finished. Walnut pickguard and abalone inlays. Mint condition in his attic. I guess Jim Rickard said you built it you keep it.

Also saw # 020 Ovation made as wel as #6 the infamous. #020 had Nitro sprayed on it and the neck was virgin. No Machine heads ever. What a clunky neck. tree trunk.
