Hullo,
some years ago I got myself a fine Instrument: a 1617-4. I bought it second hand and always wondered, how old it is. So I tried to get the information from the serial number but I can't find my number neither on the official "ovationguitars.com" list nor on the list at your site. And why are there no numbers for the year 1973? My model number is 009091 wich is right between the 1972 and the 1974 numbers.
Please somebody help me!

Eike

Sorry 'bout my English for I haven#t been using it for quite some time.

Love your member number, welcome to the club. This came up before, there's a gap in the serial numbers for some reason. Your guitar is probably from that time frame.
