Location: Pittsburgh PA | As I stated in an earlier posting I am a long time Martin owner looking to purchase my first Ovation. I found a couple models of the Celebrity that feel and play great. One of the models isn't even in the Ovation web site. It is a model CK057. It looks like the main difference between it and the CC057 is that the CC057 has a "composite" neck. The CK057 has a wooden neck. My first inclination is to go with the wooden neck. Does any one have any experience with the composite neck on an Ovation?
Also, I have noticed that the action on the models vary a bit from guitar to guitar. The dealer said they can set the action to my taste. They said there are shims under the bridge and they can lower the action if needed. Is that your understanding as well?
Thanks.

In theory the action on any new guitar can be adjusted to personal preferences.
As has been pointed out on several occasions, for the price of the huigher-end new Celebs you can buy a far superior used USA model.
