| Hi everyone. I found this board after doing a search for Ovation on the net. I am just getting into guitars(played piano most of my life), but my dad has played for many years and is a big Ovation fan. Bu thaving much more talent with guitars than with computers, he asked if I could post a question for him. A few days ago, while he was playing his guitar, he unplugged and got up to do something. When he sat back down and plugged back in, he noticed he didn't have as much volume as before. He says his guitar does not play as loud as it did , and the eq on the guitar doesn't seem to be as responsive. He tried a new battery, as well as different amps, but it didn't help. He believes its somewhere in the guitar. Has anyone run into this or heard anything about it? Any thoughs would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If it's not the battery or the cord then it's got to be inside but I've not heard of that happening. Call Budney at factory service. |
