Location: Scotland | The latest Korean models have the same electronics as the lower-end US models. Most, if not all Korean models have the CP100 thinline pickup whereas the USA guitars have either the Tru-balance or the original wide Ovation pickup. The Thinline pickup sounds fine and has been used on a number of USA guitars including the SMT & 97 collectors edition. The USA guitars are made from better materials to closer tolerances. Most people, including myself, would agree that the USA instruments look, play, sound & feel significantly superior to the imports. The Korean guitars are fine for the money, but ultimately you get what you pay for.

Location: NJ | We failed to mention that the Korean models are equipped with a small, on-board thermo-nuclear device.
....they just "forgot" to tell us they've been working on it. |

Location: NJ | with all due respect you must be having a hard time understanding internet message boards and using the SEARCH feature. If you used that you would have found the answer to your question quickly and efficiently.
have a great day!
