Is it fair price? It's the latest model in ruby color. Slightly better finish than 1997-98 SMT.
I think MSRP is around $2200.

Yes, about 50+% off. You can get 30-40% off on almost any guitar or keyboard from online store.
It must be the economy!! My Ovation is getting old & worn, so I'm in the market for another one.

Latest 1597 Is actually W597 cross weave Grpahite top.
