My first Ovation arrived today. What a fantastic instrument. It is a Legend 1867 with Natural finish. Looks great. Sounds great.

According the the serial number, it is a 1999 model. The guitar has the OP-X preamp, walnut bridge and chrome Ovation machines.

According to the Ovation website, the current Legends have an ebony bridge, gold machines and a newer preamp with built-in tuner.

Can I assume that my Legend is a "standard" 1867 for that year (not a stripped-down version), and that the model specs changed since 1999?
