Location: ma. | when someone clicks on your song, one of two things usually happen: wait for the song to download, or go thru a registration process and log in...both of which take time and turn your listeners off. this website will eliminate these things. check it out if your serious about your site. http://afxs.tripod.com/ |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Many good online places to put your music. I believe the IUMA is still active, that was the pioneer. I still think the best way to showcase your music is on your own site. Plenty of low cost hosting services provide for streaming. Hooking up with IUMA or the examples above, which target your potential audience are also great, but having your own setup, says a lot to A&R folks, booking agents and the like. |

Location: ma. | it's amazing how many bands/artists underestimate what a professionally set-up site can do for your image. i've been on some pretty confusing sites just to hear a song, when i have to wait or sign up i'm usually outta there. you should always look at your site from the visitors perspective. that means quick and painless. |

Location: Fort Worth, Texas | My co-band member got this fledgling site for our fledgling band up and going just today - we have a profesional web designer working on something prettier (she's doing it very cheap for us to get some experience, co-worker from the IT department!)
We have some better pictures and video from our first couple of gigs coming on-line soon - some where I'm not just tuneing
and some better demos...
