Hi- just saw this auction on ebay... I don't know much about adamas so i was hoping someone could answer a few Q's- What's a fair price? Is this one of the beter adami? does it have a chrome. tuner on the preamp? is it an investment that will possibly appreciate? How's the sound relative to other adami? what year??

Sorry to be annoying.... Thanks!

Late model Adamas 2. As it has an Optima I'd guess it's from just before they were discontinued, maybe 97/98. These are great guitars. In reality they should fetch around $2k but rarely do, so you could be lucky and snatch it for around a grand. Anything around $1500 is OK. The Optima tuner has 4-band EQ, a feedback notch and a chromatic tuner. These guitars sound the closet to the original Adamas 1. The woven top Adamas W597 is the nearest equivalent in the current line.

If you are interested in this guitar, I'd second Paul T. For a grand or less, it's a steal. Also, it's not a mid depth bowl, but a full deep bowl guitar.
