Location: NJ | When I was up in CT I talked to a couple of folks that told me the OFC took a while to load. While I was up there I borrowed a friends computer with cable modem and it loaded as swiftly as it does for me at home.
Is anyone else experience this problem?

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | CT is still a techno-odd place. I believe it was only about 2 or three years ago that AOL finally UPGRADED to 28.8 access from 14.4 in many areas. Cable has really helped out consumers up there, but many buisnesses and corperates are still on antiquated T1 and/or 10BaseT systems. There's even still a lot of older Novell and mainframe type archectures. |

Location: Warsaw, Indiana | Here in the great mid-west (Indiana) I visit the board at work on my breaks. We use a T1 connection and loading is sometimes slow and sometimes strange. Last week everytime I tried to leave the main menu it would flash the bulletin boasrd or for sale page then go right back to the main menu |

Location: Warsaw, Indiana | Ok, I just replied and clicked on my profile to see how close I was to shedding the dreaded "junior" member status and the system wouldn't let me. It takes me to the main menu. |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | I'll get the member profile thing working soon. As stated earlier, now that this board has become fairly popular, many of the pages (like the BBS itself) show up in search engines as links. WHen someone would click, they would just get the message board (no menu on left) or worse yet, get a page like the welcome page (the message from Al and I), by itself, which is kindof useless.
So now, you must have entered via www.ovationfanclub.com and if you don't (as in clicking profile which opens a new window) it will force it.
Just one of those things we have to work around as we grow. I will find some clever way to code that will allow you to do what you want once you are already here, but it may take a few days. |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | How exactly are you attempting to access your profile? I went searching for code to modify and found that if I click on "my profile" at the top of the page, it takes me to my profile. :(
Let me know exactly what you are doing, so I can repeat the problem and resolve it. |
