Location: northern virginia | Any thoughts on why Ovation doesn't currently make a 'regular production model' deep-bowl, non-cutaway Adamas? |

| Stay Tuned . I am not sure who said they dont but. The most Martin D-45 sounding Guitar is a full bowl Adamas 2nd generation ,no electronics . I dont know if thats what they are called but, They are not the Original Adamas textured tops. They are different. bUT they are all Fat and Phat. I played 4 and they are all consistantly equal. Like they were clones or something. I Cant say if they are production models. I know the Japanese are enjoying them through Jim Nakao.
Its like the Mitsubishi Skyline. The ultimate sportscar. ONLY IN JAPAN |

Location: northern virginia | I've always heard that deep non-cutaways are the way to go, and I really wish I could get a new one - at a regular production price. Of course, Ovation says they'll custom build anyhing, but for $$$$$
And I too have seen ads on Japanese websites for new deep bowl, non-cutaways......why on earth they won't market them here, I dunno. |

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | My 1687 model Adamas is a non cutaway deep bowl. This to me is the true Adamas sound. If you ever get a chance to play one, you will know what I mean...Paul Hebert |

Location: northern virginia | Richardd - thank you for sharing that. I think I'll contact my retailer again. How long did it take to get it built? |
