The docs check his banjo playing skill, disconnect a few wires in his brain, recheck skill, disconnect a few more, then recheck, and repeat the procedure until he can't play the banjo at all, then sew him up. Or, maybe it is the other way around. Say, for those of us who haven't improved much in the past 20 years on guitar, suppose we could go in and have the surgeon play with a few wires until we play like the pros?

His daughter suggested to the nurses on his floor that he should try playing guitar, so one of them brought one in. He messed around with it a little at first, but by the end of the first day, he was PLAYING. I believe that is why he had a full recovery.
