Location: puerto vallarta, mexico | this is probably the original slut head prototype, and i bought it for a possible 6061 t6 aluminum top experiment, or to resell here. this guitar will drive the locals crazy. it is muy mexicano. besides i need a few cases.
sorry i've been off line for so long amigos. body rebuilding and a bunch of on going construction prompted by the hurricane and a music schedule that didn't slow down very much has had me hunting for sleep time. i checked e bay for the first time in months this morning and bought the barf on toast despite reading the posts, mainly because the toast looked like whole wheat and the barf must have been induced by the worm in the bottom of a mezcal bottle. besides my brother lives in phoenix. no shipping and he can bring it to me.
or maybe i'm working to hard and need to stop chasing the worm. i'll let you know exactly how bad this guitar is when i get it. i knew as soon as i saw it there would be no less than what i found here in reference to it. anyway, i've had bar tabs bigger than this so---------- |

Location: puerto vallarta, mexico | yeah paul, it's me again. i had some stuff done to get the back thing more under control. has it really been that long? that land of manana syndrome must really have me under its spell. i have been very busy with the music and construction. tomorrow the roof of one our houses comes off (everything) and a new one must go on before the rains start. i'll bet your really jealous of my genetic mutation ovation. makes you wonder what those guitars do in conn after the lights go out. |

Good to hear from you, I thought about you a week or so ago when our Las Cruces sunday Sun-News had a travel section on Puerto Vallarta. It was interesting, but I have no idea whether it was correct, the paragraph about expatriate Ovation extremists threatening the local status quo was interesting, but they spelled your name wrong.

I'm sure everybody is waiting as I am, to hear how this artistic creation sounds, (there isn't a poster here who didn't want to bid on it, all those nostalgic references to AMC's reveals a lot). |
