I know this question has come up before but I can't find it in the search. Can anyone tell me i) what is the size nut drive needed for an Ovation traditional style truss rod at the headstock. ii) what is the size and length needed for an adjusting wrench for the K-bar types.

Thanks, Dave

The guitars which adjust at the head need a 1/4inch socket wrench. I'm pretty sure the K-bar hex key is 1/4 also.

Affirmative on the 1/4's...in fact I use a multi-bit screwdriver (the type with 10 bits in the handle), and the empty shaft is 1/4", and long enough to make it down the channel under the nut (on the older headstock units). A standard 1/4" 90 allen wrench on the new...Keep It Straight...&...
