The electric side sounds as good as any humbucking guitar with Seymour Duncan pickups. Real nice crunchy bridge pu sound. He usually use's a Tak acoustic model with a tube preamp built in and gets a great acoustic sound so we're spoiled but, I gotta say the VXT acoustic sound through the pod's acoustic model isn't bad. He's tweaked the pod (mostly eq).

I use mine whenever a crunchy electric sound is required in addition to the regular acoustic stuff, which is about once every six weeks or so. It keeps me from having to haul two guitars. What is seldom mentioned is the great fit and finish of this guitar. Their cousins in the Hamer custom shop may have had some influence here.
