Location: Phoenix AZ | I'm looking for a part and I have no idea what it is called. I've looked on line at Stew Mc and others and can't find it. LGS (Local Guitar Shop) doesn't have it. I'm hoping that someone here will know what it is and better yet point me in the right direction.
The part is for the tuners on a slot head guitar (Ovation Classical). The tuners are Schaller. The part I need is the little round metal insert that goes into the inner most hole in the slot (into the center wood piece of the headstock). The post of the tuner then fits into this as you mount the tuners through the outer wood and the slot. I thought it was called a "ferrule" but everyplace I check the only ones that have are for non-slot heads and they have a lip. The ones I need are a non-lipped cylinder which is smooth on the inside for the tuner post to rest in and fluted on the outside to grip into the wood. Does anyone know what these are called and where I could get one.
Thanks,
Dave |

Location: Scotland | It called a bush (or bushing?) I'm pretty sure stewmac stock these, if not try Kim or John, otherwise try going direct to Schaller or their US distributor. |

Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | Oh yeah, and thanks Dave; I just bought a CC163 classical. I didn't know they had roller bushings in the peghead. |
