Location: Dallas, GA, USA | My Adamas CVT could use a little setup... the action is ok but the high e string is kind of dead sounding when fretted on the 2nd or 3rd fret. May be just a truss rod tweak, but it looks like the slot for that string is deeper into the nut than any of the other strings. If it were a cheaper guitar, I'd start playing with it, but I want this one set up by someone sharp. Any suggestions? Seems like I remember seeing that Samova lives around here somewhere... |

Location: Atlanta,Ga. | Just saw your post ..The best repair guy in Atlanta is a store called "Too Many Guitars" in Tucker ,Ga. .He has worked on many Ovations of mine and knows Ovations as well as anyone. He has also assembled a few deacons from scratch for me.I had enough parts to make 3 new deacons with NOS parts..One of the nicest was a deacon deluxe with UK2 pick ups. That one killed les Pauls...Anyway,call Kerry for repairs 770 492-9916 ..He always has a couple of used Ovation acoustics and Hamers. He really likes Hamers.. |

Location: Dallas, GA, USA | Thank you kindly! I'll be giving him a call when I get back from Key West. I'll just have to make do in the miserable environment of diving and fishing until I get back! |
