I've been impressed with this year's collectors guitar. I've played two different ones and they both sound exceptionally good. Very "woody", if you get my drift.

They are a bit "understated" cosmetically (not a bad thing?) compared to some of the previous models but perhaps the effort went into creating a great package for the price, e.g. AA sitka spruce soundboard, 5-ply mahogony/maple neck, ebony board and bridge, gold tuners, deluxe case and OP40 preamp.
Anyway, just thought I'd mention it and well done to Ovation for a great guitar.
