Perhaps you should reconsider 'virtual' house guests.

I'm looking forward to visiting the United Kingdom - and two of their other states, England and Scotland!!!

Don't yer just love it; here we go offending England and Scotland (by Jeff visiting :) , and then (by omitting them), the other 'states' of Wales and Northern Ireland :) . Don't worry, I spent a year in the USA as a exchange student; I know how easy it is to cause offence abroad. Oh, and and the comments about the beer and weather are just on the button! :)

He should have just built a bigger trebouchet and shot himself over. I'd have paid to watch.

Why do for free what you can get folks to pay for?

That's how my wife explained the camera, anyway....

After I've taken M-I-B's advice and filled him with cold fizzy lager and McDonalds for a couple of weeks he's going to come back looking like an American.

I'm just jealous. Last weekend I winterized the boat. This weekend I'll winterize the cabin. You guys have fun. Not like you needed us to tell you that.

Very handy. . . .

I'm reminded that Hunter S. Thompson frequently traveled with with his "attorney"....

The steering wheel is on the wrong side.

And Mark - at some point we're bound to pass through Kendal, so I'll tell the mayor that they cost the UK tourist industry big time when they messed you around.
But it's kinda like judging America by Pacoima CA.

Stop by Gilkes and say hello to them for me. I'm sure they'll remember those couple of weeks in a courtroom in Idaho. Good folks. It wasn't their fault it was cold and rainy and the van driver on our tour of the Lake District hadn't bathed in awhile and the court reporter upchucked on the side of the road. Those are only the good memories. Almost as much fun as my trip to Canada.

I'm still choking on the replies I DIDN'T post on the thread that mentioned Andrea, Schroeder, and JeffW meeting for lunch.

Mark, living in Idaho means you're half Canadian already. Or at least Saskatchewanian.

What Heathrow Security? Every couple of months some tabloid newspaper or other gets a reporter on board a NY-bound flight with a Smith & Wesson in their hand luggage.
Or they find 33 illegal Iraqi immigrants working in baggage handling.......
But park your car within 3 miles and........

6 hours to touchdown.
