Can anyone with a catalog collection tell me what year the Folklore changed from 12 fret to 14 fret neck ??? Dave

Dave, there was a gap of several years between the two models. The original 12-fret folklore was discontinued in the early 80's. It doesn't appear in the '83 Ovation Information booklets. When the current version was introduced (mid 90's maybe?, around the same time as the Mando & Viper?) it had a 14-fret neck.

Folklore has a 14 fret neck???!!??
It was mid 90's. When was the first C-Series with an inlayed rossette? It was around then since the folklore had an inlayed rosettttte.

Yeah, I thought it was strange to have a 14-fret neck on a Folklore. I think the '94 was the first C-series with an inlaid rosette
