Hello....I have already learned alot about my guitars. The people here are up the their ears in Ovation knowledge.
I bought a new Balladeer (ser# 0003521) in 1971. It has aged like a fine wine. I have not had to adjust the neck or bridge height in 25 years. While I'm picking "Here Comes The Sun", I love to put my chin on the wood and feel the sound.
My other Ovation is a 1972(?) Breadwinner (ser# 906). This is another guitar I will never part with. Even if my friends get on me about my "odd-ball / stucco" guitar!!
My Balladeer is from the pre-electric days. I am starting to get the desire for something I can plug in. I'll ask for some advise in another post.
Thanks for all the info & good reading.

Welcome! you got some nice ones there. For something you can plug in, lots of choices there too. The members here can steer you to where you wnat to be and then you can buy it from Al, our favorite moderator.

I have a 1998 shallow bowl Custom Legend, CCB top in absolutely perfect condition that I'm putting up for sale soon. Let me know if you're interested or want pics.

DD.
