I'm with Willard, do we know, or know anything about Roundback from the board. Does he post?

I have communicated personally with Roundback on several occasions, and purchased my mint condition 1997 Collectors from him at a reasonable price. He is honest, and fully discloses the condition of the equipment that he sells. As well, his prices are generally below market.

He is not a collector, but rather the pastor of an evangelical church who deals in guitars as a sideline. At the time I purchased my Collector from him, he mentioned to me that he only owns one older Ovation with a top crack.

His sideline may be guitars but he appears to be an astute judge of guitars, and not just Ovation [Gibson, Fender, etc.] He gets back to the potential bidder on submitted questions.

As with some of the OFC members listing guitars, it is nice to have a seller who doesn't say "I don't know anything about guitars" or "I don't know, I don't have anything to plug it into."

As an aside, it is important that an OFC member tell us about their listings...I always check out the listing when I know it is an OFC member. Great resource.

As I have posted before, I often check out what Roundback is bidding on [eBay search by bidder.] I have gone after a couple of guitars that he ended up dropping out of the bidding. He is looking for resale markup - he may drop out but the guitar is still a great deal...

With a name like "Roundback" he/she is not a collector etc.? I detect a coverup here and we will pursue this until the truth comes out. I challange "Roundback" to reveal his/hers identity and solve this mystery.
