Using this boards search engine has answered 99% of my questions and has be fun to read. You will learn much more than what you are asking. Member #4 has probably answered the same old line more times than a hot chick in a pick up bar. :D

Yeah

And most of us don't squeeze new members heads in a vise when they ask that same question as has been menshunned. But then, we don't live in Joisey neither. (notice that this Joisey word "neither" violates the LAW, i before e except after c, typically Joisey)

Concerning product changes...when does Ovation typically make the splash of new product announcements?

Is this usually at NAMM? Anaheim NAMM is scheduled Jan 15-18, 2004.

Too bad it's not open to the public...would be fun.

Well CWK and I can spill the beans right now, but I was asked to keep quiet.

The Namm show would be the place to see the redesigned guitars.

I don't want to spill the beans either, they'll get mad at me, again. That's why I didn't go into specificks about what's coming. I didn't even use the real name, it's not going to be "Elecks".
I just get impressed with the degree of advancement that has happened at the factory and keep in mind, I've been around guitar factories all my life so I don't get impressed easily.

In a previous post, I stated that I really liked the sound of an Adamas smt and that I wanted to find a custom elite to compare the sound. With this new information, I'll probably wait. I think I can see why they would rather keep this info quiet. Remember what happened to Osborne computers when they announced a new model coming out in over a year?

Dang

I was sure you wouldn't recognize me if I disguised my voice with a Joisey accent. Most burros would be happy with concrete shoes as better than no shoes at all. If youse guys keep revealing the factory secrets, we may find you displayed at the factory in Lyracord boots inside a large water tank.

I'd still get the SMT guitar. What I saw was on the wood top series.

I have waited over 30 years to buy my third Ovation. I think I can wait a few more months to see what the new models are all about.
