Hey, all. I'm looking for a 12 string and have found a Pinnacle 385T on the Net at what looks like a reasonable price. I can't seem to find out any info. The Ovation mothership doesn't list this model under discontinued and the current Pinnacle models have different Model numbers.
I guess what I'm asking is this: Is this guitar worth looking into further?

I don't know what the price is that you consider reasonable. If about $400-500, consider this:

Pinnacle guitar in question was $1,199 new in 1992, $1,249 on 1993.

recently bought a GREAT Custom Legend 12-string #1659 for a couple of dollars less that $400. In 1982, a new #1659 was $1,200.

In just dollars, we know that $1,200 in 1982 was a lot more than $1,249 in 1993. In addition, there is a difference in guitars...so, relative value to you, especially if that is the one you want to play

The first Pinnacles were Jap & were pretty good, but as Tony suggested you could find a USA model for around the same money.

Tony, Paul, Thanks! I appreciate the input. The guitar in question is priced at $350 which is about what I'm looking to spent because I don't figure a 12 string will be my main guitar. Guitar looks good in the pix but, the description says it needs some work--refret, truss rod adjustment--that I figure will push the price to around $500 just to get it playable. Besides, I already have an Ovation of oriental ancestry and really would like my next one to be "Born in the USA"
