Location: Fort Worth, Texas | Saw Mystic River Friday night. Fantastic movie. Noticed, as we stayed for the credits, the music is by Clint Eastwood.
The soundtrack doesn't include any pop/rock/rap/country/folk/jazz/etc. songs. It's all orchestral and cinematic. I had no idea that Clint Eastwood wrote any music...
Non guitar topic. An excellent film though. Maybe worth getting the soundtrack. |

| He wrote the theme to The Bridges of Madison County as well. The music was used very well in that movie. |

Location: Las Cruces, NM | Clint Eastwood hosted one of the blues series episodes. It seems that he is a capable and respected piano player. Just shows us that actors "play" parts in movies, and may have other talents in real life. To me, music can only be played in real life as there is no way to "act" music.

| When Eastwood was young he used to play piano in bars in Oakland for tips. I have a very good cd that has Eastwood hosting an event at Carnegie Hall featuring some blues players. Bailey, you can't act music? What about Milli Vanilli or the Partridge family? Nothing like watching Danny strum the bass guitar. |

I guess that proves what I said, you can't "act" music and get away with it. |
