Has there ever been a professional video production of the Kaman Story? If not, perhaps it would be something to consider...
It should show not only the history of Ovation, but showcase some of the Artists who play them.
Maybe try to get PBS to broadcast it?
Whatcha think?

Excellent idea. Just the Ovation History in and of itself is pretty amazing! since the artist Rostter changes maybe the History part would be a better idea-maybe even touching on the Manufacturing process.
Other Brands have had videos out about Neck Designs and building. I think it would be great to have insight into the history and a behind the scenes look at whatmakes the guitars so Great :D |

Also, if they could show Artists who actually CHOOSE to play Ovations rather than those who succumb to "sales pressure" to "hold" a specific guitar... that could show the incredible heights to which these instruments can reach!

Location: NJ | Tim and I talked about this idea yesterday on the phone. I think it would be a great and interesting idea. There are So many cable channels and they are all looking for subjects to do stories about. The history of Ovation would be really cool or how about a maintaining your guitar series on the DIY network?
I have many great ideas just not enough money or contacts. Not that it would matter anyway. |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Although I think OVation should sponsor shows like this, someone should do it. It's a great idea(s). It costs nothing but time to do Public Access shows. Get some aspiring producers and video folks from College or even High School, and submit it to the local stations everywhere. MPT and I forget Boston's and Chicago's public access stations are seen Nationwide. |
