I was surfing the net trying to find out what happened to the black Custom Legend that Paul Simon used at the Central Park concert. Seems he gave it to Carrie Fisher as part of a divorce settlement. The guitar was auctioned in September of 2001 by Sothebys. What I can't find out is who got the guitar, and how much was paid for it. I found a picture of it, and it looks like one of the wings on the headstock was knocked off. Anyone know where the guitar ended up?

All I could find is http://www.forbes.com/2001/09/19/0919pow.html
about the 2001 auction. It was a 1691 Custom Legend. Don't believe it had damage when auctioned.

Tony (and anyone else).

Look closely at the headstock in the photo. At least one of the "wings" is broken off.

Yep, Miles is right...hmmm, wonder if Paul or Carrie did it. Probably a good story in that one...don't know if I would accept "it fell off of the stand."
