...can I interchange the preamps between my Ovations? I have an Adamas with an OP50, and the balladeer has the OP30. Say I'm going to play a gig outdoors, not the kind of place I would want to expose my Adamas to, but want the OP50. Can they be interchanged? Thanks

The Op50 has different connections to the outputs due to the fact that it has balanced LO-Z & unbalanced Hi-Z outs & a phantom-power option. There's also an additional PCB attached to the outputs, so it may not be compatible. As I don't own a guitar with an Op30 or 40 I can't try it out. The OP30 & 40 are interchangable, check with Kim or John at customer service for the Op50
