| Considering it's the end of the year, the 2003 collector's is over 50% off. Is this collector's edition really any different from a standard elite? Is this a great deal? What do you all think? Any owner testimonials? |

Location: Phoenix AZ | That's a great price. And YES it is different from a normal Elite (although probably sounds similar). The wood epaulets are INLAID. I don't own one of these, but I think it is one of the most beautiful examples of Ovation woodwork I've ever seen. Dave |

Location: San Francisco, CA | It is essentially an Elite with AA spruce top, except different top color & inlaid epaulets. A dealer told me he had a dozen FRG & factory second. I suspect there are some quality issues on the 2003 collector edition. Several were sold for around $540 on eBay. |
