Playadamas lives in "Walnut" CA not "Walnut Creek" CA. At least that's where I sent his strings. I think they're two separate places.

They are two separate places ... about 350 miles apart. Walnut Creek is about 10 miles from my home, so if an OFC'r buys this I'd be happy to pick it up for you and deliver it at some indeterminate time in the future. :D

I owned that guitar and sold it for significantly less to the owner.
it is PERFECT.
I e mailed the owner he claims he is very sick needs some sort of transplant and has no medical insurance.
the guitar is worth every penny

It's also a full production guitar. One of the first but not a prototype. It does have the foam head piece. It took a few to get the stain right.

Cwk2, the serial #71 is very interesting though. If slotheads ended at #60 and full production models started at #77 as previously thought, where are the other 15 serial numbers? Are there another 15 of these transitional models around somewhere?

I sold # 78 and it had no fingerboard inlays and had a weird darker brown finish with no burst..

maybe they started again at 69 rather than the 77 we've been thinking. They're all the same configuration.

And I assume at least the guys (and some women) know why 77 is better than 69.
