I just visited Ovation's website, and found two new models that I have never seen before, the S773 Balladeer and the 1773 Legend, which are both slotheads!!! Have they been there and I just not seen them, or did Ovation sneak them in recently??? |

Location: SoCal | I just figured it out. They're both nylon strings. The Balladeer is the less expensive Country Artist model, and the 1773 is the mid depth bowl classical. Both have been around for a few years. |

Location: Canton (Detroit), MI | Thanks to all of you. I figured out after I posted from my 2003 Ovation catalog that they were nylon-string models, and not new. Ovation doesn't make it that clear on their website.
Slotheads sure look cool, though! I was hoping they were new steel-string models. |
