Just wondering if the newer, thinner saddle pickups are compatable with the older, straight acoustic guitars?, Also, are they available in a version that goes straight to a 1/4 jack for use with an outboard preamp?

Thanks!

Not sure if they'll drop into a regular acoustic saddle slot without it being routed for width and/or depth. There's no reason why you couldn't wire a Thinline directly to an output jack & use an external pre-amp.
