Hi everyone,
Was looking for information and history of my ovation guitar and stumbled on this page. Can anyone give me any information on my guitar?
The sticker inside reads 1768 Elite - Made in New Hartford, CT, USA.
Also should there be a serial number on the guitar somewhere as I can't seem to find it anywhere?
Thanks for any help or info in advance.
Cheers, Dan

Depending on the age, Ovations usually have the serial number either on a small white sticker inside the bowl up near the neck or stamped into the back of the headstock.

And welcome to the club. That's a nice guitar you have. Got any pics?

Cheers thank you so much, I found the serial on the headstock, mine is 509581! Using the links from this site, I think it means my guitar was made in 1996?

Don't have pics but the colour on the front is similiar to this, a brown sunburst? -

Will figure out how to post pics of my own.
Thanks again, this site is a great resource.
Cheers. Dan
